Abstract (en)

The vacuum clamping device has a vacuum clamping table (1) with suction apertures (4) and a pressing device (2) movable over the table in two directions. A control device opens the valves between the suction apertures in a certain region, when sensors produce a signal that the pressing device is passing over this region.
