Abstract (en)
The winding-out device (1) winds a material web (2) from a roll (4) of the winding axis (3). At least one protective device (7, 16) is fitted to prevent access to dangerous regions. The protective device (7, 16) can be turned by means of an adjustable drive device (8) so that it can take over the function of an accessible working platform when the winding-out device is not in operation.
