Abstract (en)
Method of reducing cholesterol content (A) in cholesterol containing organics (preferably animal oil or fat) comprises: adding demineralized and/or distilled water to oil or fat in a firmly adjusted pH value to form a mixture; and separating the obtained mixture of oil or fat and demineralized and/or distilled water into cholesterol containing aqueous phase and a cholesterol reduced oil- or fat phase.
