Abstract (en)
Each repeating unit of the fabric is formed by at least 26 warp threads. The covering has a total thickness of 0.78 mm or less. In a machine-side fabric layer, the weft diameter is 0.35 mm or less. The covering is thinner, preferably being less than 0.55 mm in thickness and the machine-side wefts are 0.27 mm or less in diameter. The smallest repeating units have 28, 30, 40, 50 or more warps. On the machine side, the weave has one connecting point between layers, per 13-20 warp/weft threads. The connecting threads are arranged at least in pairs, in alternation. The fabric pattern on the paper-side is continued by weaving the connecting threads with warps and wefts on this side. Spacing of successive connecting threads, is between 1/4 and 3/4 of the mutual spacing between successive connecting points of the connecting threads. The weft ratio between paper side and machine side is 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 3:2 or 4:3. Spacing between paper-side warp and machine-side warp layers near connecting points is 1.1, 1.05, or preferably 1.02 times the connecting thread thickness, with a tension of 60-80 N/cm.

Papiermaschinenbespannung, insbesondere ein Formiersieb, welches durch eine Vielzahl von sich wiederholenden Einheiten (Wiederholeinheiten) gebildet wird, wobei jede Wiederholeinheit eine papierseitige Webstruktur mit papierseitigen Kett- und Schussfäden und eine maschinenseitige Webstruktur mit maschinenseitigen Kett- und Schussfäden umfasst und wobei die papierseitige und die papierseitige Webstruktur durch Bindefäden miteinander verbunden sind und wobei jede Wiederholeinheit durch zumindest 26 Kettfäden gebildet wird und die Papiermaschinenbespannung eine Gesamtdicke von 0,78mm und weniger hat.
