The adjustment compensator for a machine assembly has a pair of slots (107) formed in respective components (104). Each slot has gear rack teeth (106) engaged by an adjustment pinion (110). The pinion can have an opening (112) for a machine key. The components can have wedge faces which mutually engage.

Verstell- und Ausgleichselement, mit zwei gegeneinander verlagerbaren Teilen, wobei in jedem der Teile eine langlochförmige Öffnung vorgesehen ist, mit einem Betätigungselement, welches drehbar gelagert ist und welches mit jeweils einer der einander gegenüberliegenden Längsränder der langlochförmigen Öffnungen form- oder kraftschlüssig in Eingriff steht.
