Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1619390A2] The jacket-type ventilator has a fan wheel (1) consisting of a hub (2) from which projects fan blades (3, 3'), and a ventilator jacket (5) passing round the ends of the blades remote from the hub. The blades are at least partly insulated from each other as regards vibration. Only some of the blades may be rigidly connected to the jacket, while others have an air gap (6) between their ends and the jacket.
