[origin: EP1619394A2] The fan assembly (20) is applicable to a light source (L) that produces heat. The fan assembly (20) comprises a frame (21) and an impeller (24). The frame (21) comprises an opening (26), and a periphery of the opening (26) has a curved surface. The impeller (24) is disposed in the frame (21). When light emitted from the light source (L) enters the opening (26), the light is blocked from penetrating the opening by the curved surface.
