[origin: EP1619641A2] Traffic information relating to traffic reports is encoded and transmitted from one transmitter to multiple receivers, and then decoded in the receivers. The coded traffic information also includes a proportion factor which indicates what proportion of the multiple receivers should take notice of the traffic report.
