Abstract (en)
An electrical conductor consists of a metallic conductor (1) with a glass / mica layer on top, and a surrounding plastic layer. The glass / mica layer consists of two band sections. The first band (2) has edges which overlap by 25-50%. The second band (4) has an inner mica layer and is wound around the first band, with edges that overlap between 25-50%. The plastic layer (5) contains a material, which forms a ceramic in the event of a fire.
