[origin: WO2004097085A1] An exchangeable reinforcement (10) is provided for spinning machine drawing frames, which can be slipped onto the press roller base body (17). The reinforcement comprises a thin reinforcement sleeve (19) and an elastic roller cover (20) fixed thereto. The reinforcement is cut from a long tube body to the required working width. The roller cover (20) is turned at both ends such that the reinforcing sleeve (19) extends laterally beyond the roller cover.
