Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004097090A1] Holding devices are provided for detachable fastening heald carrying bars (8) on heald staves (2) of a shaft (1) of a weaving machine. These holding devices consist of, for example, two metal sheets of which one part forms an adhering surface for joining to the heald stave (2). The remaining part serves to accommodate metallic reinforcing strips (rib (31, 32)) that can be riveted or welded to the metal sheet. These reinforcing strips serve to accommodate fastening elements for a plate and to position this plate. The positioning is realized in a positive manner. The metal sheets are preferably tightened against the plate by means of screws in order to positively fix them in the designated position. Alternatively, rivets can be also be used that can be removed, as required, by means of simple tools, for example, by pressing them out. The reinforcing strips are designed and fixed to the metal sheets in such a manner that the reinforcement simultaneously serves to precisely position the plate (22) in order to positively prevent a vertical displacement of the plate during the operation of the heald shaft.
