[origin: EP1621102A2] The device has an applying unit (46) loaded with product from a container. Another applying unit (48) is separated from the container, and is in contact with a region to be treated to spread or shade the product from the unit (46). The unit (48), when integrated to the container, partially surrounds the unit (46). The container has an opening that permits the unit (48) to communicate with ambient air when the container is closed. An independent claim is also included for a make-up method with the help of a product packing and applying device.
