[origin: EP1621254A2] The manually shut-off gun for especially high pressure cleaning devices has a valve (5) in the gun housing (1) to close off a fluid delivery line (6). A valve component (14) is pressed against a valve seat (13) by force of a spring (15), whereby the valve component by means of a hand lever (2) via an operating rod (16) axially movable inside an operating bore (18) is lifted from the valve seat against the force of the spring, and the retention force of the hand lever during the opening and the keeping open of the valve is assisted indirectly through media pressure.
