[origin: EP1621289A2] The clamping cylinder (10) comprises a first piston (12) axially movable inside a housing (11) and designed as a hollow element. The housing (11), serving as the linear guide for the piston (12), is fitted with two connecting points (13, 14) for oil ducts (15, 16). Two piston chambers (18, 19) are formed inside the hollow space by a second piston (20) stationary joined to the housing (11) and serving as a stop element for the first piston (12) when it is moved into an extended position.
