Abstract (en)
The mechanism for preparing rolls of paper (50) for flying roll change has an applicator (30) on which reels (45) of adhesive tape and reels of protective tape (81) can be mounted. A slide (47) cooperates with a pressure roller (39) to apply the adhesive tape to the paper roll and a blade (40) cuts it off.
