Abstract (en)
The structure has a supporting wall of height greater than height of an inhabited level of a building and having with supporting metal stanchions (2) distributed along the length of the wall. The number of stanchions depends on the length. The wall has a metal cross-beam (4) for supporting a floor (32) and to support the entire weight. The cross-beam is fixed transversely to the stanchions, between distal ends of the stanchions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for constructing a load bearing structure (B) a building comprising a load bearing structure.
