[origin: WO2005098205A1] The invention relates to a cartridge valve comprising a drive part and a valve part (2) provided with a sleeve (9) in which a piston (7) can be displaced and which comprises a recess (22, 23) into which a connection leads. The aim of the invention is to embody one such cartridge valve in such a way that it can be used for different fitting situations, wherein the distance between the supply boreholes of the receiving block for the cartridge valve differs. To this end, the recess (22, 23) has a length and/or width extension that is larger than the cross-section of the connection. The cartridge valve is suitable for using in camshaft regulators for controlling the supply of a pressure medium.
