Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004099645A1] A blocking device for stopping the brake piston (14) inside the housing (12) and an actuation device (42) for controlling the blocking device (42) is provided in a vehicle brake (10) which comprises a brake piston (14) which is arranged in a housing (12). The brake piston (14) and the housing (12) define a fluid chamber (90) which can be filled with hydraulic fluid such that the brake piston (14) which is used to hydraulically actuate the vehicle brake (10) can be moved inside the housing (12) along the longitudinal axis of the piston (A). The blocking device (14) also comprises a ramp arrangement (26) and a blocking element (70) which can be displaced in relation to the housing (12). The blocking element (70) can be displaced inside the housing (12) by means of the actuation drive and as a result of interaction with the ramp arrangement (26) in order to block the brake piston (14) inside said housing and can be coupled to the brake piston (14). The inventive vehicle brake is configured in such a manner that the actuation device (42) comprises a drive motor which is drivingly connected to the ramp arrangement (26). The locking element (70) is displaced by activating the drive motor in order to block and release the brake piston (14) inside the housing (12).
