[origin: EP1624119A2] The device includes a sleeve-like part (2) with an internal thread (4) at one end, and a cavity (6) with an opening (8) at the other end. An anchoring part (10) is inserted through the opening, partially into the cavity so as to join the sleeve-like part. The sleeve-like part has a wall thickness (t) in the vicinity of the cavity, that is less than the maximum wall thickness in the vicinity of the internal thread. An independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing the embedded device.
