[origin: EP1624189A1] Four cooperating rotary pistons are provided in a housing on two shafts. Co-rotating plates or discs (19;20) are arranged between the rotary pistons (15,17; 16,18) of each shaft (13;14). One disc has a diameter corresponding to the external diameter of the piston, while the other disc has a diameter corresponding to the root diameter of the piston.
