[origin: WO2004096461A1] Disclosed is a device for extracting concave dents (12) from sheet metal. The inventive device comprises a basic body (1) that is made of plastic and is provided with several continuous bores into which traction elements (6) made of metallic material are inserted. One end of said traction elements encompasses an enlarged head (7). The forward end (5) of the traction elements protrudes from the basic body (1) at the opposite end when the head (7) rests against the basic body (1). The forward end (5) of the traction elements is welded onto the sheet metal, whereupon the basic body (1) is retracted in order to remove the dent (12).
