Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004103754A1] In order to fix a functional element (4), in particular a seal, to a glass pane (2), in particular of vehicle glazing, an adhesive (10) is applied to a predetermined surface region of a clip (7). Each clip is laid on the designated surface of the pane (2) in a predetermined position. Once the adhesive (10) has bonded, the functional element (4) is locked in a positive fit with the clips (7) and a sealing compound (11) is poured in a free casting process into a connection region that is common to the clips, functional element and the glass pane, thus at least partially covering said region.
