[origin: WO2004101374A1] The invention relates to a flexible pouch (10) for beverages, comprising at least one closure (14) that is welded in between two free edges (16, 18) of the pouch, whereby the body (22) of the closure (14) welded in between both edges (16, 18) is provided, at least in sections, in the shape of a truncated cone. The invention also relates to a method for producing a pouch (10) of the aforementioned type during which the closure (14) is pressed in the direction of the pouch interior (42) before the welding process is completed.
