Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004100059A2] The invention relates to a watch (2) strap (1). The inventive strap contains a USB port (4) comprising a ROM data-storage device (3) which can be connected to the universal serial port(s) (USB) of computers for the purpose of processing computer data. In order to process data in the ROM memory structure (3), the user removes the USB port (4) from one part of the strap (5) and connects same to the USB port of a computer. The inventive strap (1) is designed for users wishing to transport data in a secure and practical manner. The strap can be used in place of the majority of existing straps, such that a user can benefit from the functions thereof even after changing watches. The invention provides a secure and permanent medium for storing and transferring data. Moreover, the invention is discreet, small and more practical than floppy disks, compact discs, external hard discs or the mini USB memory cards or USB memory keys which they resemble.
