Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1626026A2] The cover has an elevator car (3) and a counterweight (4), displaceable in a lift well (2). The car (3) and counterweight are connected by a guide roller (16, 18, 20) and the counterweight is integrated, propelled in the elevator car. The guide roller has a cover which is removed when the car is incoming or takes off. The cover can (23) be mounted at the guide roller without tools. The cover is formed as a cap and fits on the axle of the guide roller.
