Abstract (en)
The electromechanical relay has wound coil [14] mounted on a yoke [20] with an armature [30] located in a pivoted position [26]. The armature is subjected to a spring return [40] force. Mounted on the armature is a leaf spring [50] carrier that has a contact [70] at the tip. When the coil is energised the contacts close.
