[origin: WO2004101716A1] The invention relates to the use of terpolymers comprising the following as monomer constituents: a) at least one low alkene, b) at least one long-chain alpha olefin, and c) at least one polar polymerisable monomer, as additives for fuel oils and lubricants, and especially as cold flow improvers in fuel oils. The invention also relates to the fuel oils and lubricants to which said terpolymers are added, and to additive packets containing said terpolymers.
