Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004104337A1] The invention relates to a driving rod gear mechanism (1) for locking a wing of a window or door, consisting of a displaceable driving rod (3) and of a device or means that converts a rotary motion of an operating lever or the like into a translatory motion. The device or means consists of a pivoting lever (10) that, at one end, is rotationally engaged with a shaft (7) of the operating lever and has a driver (12) at the other end (11). Said driver engages inside a link (13) that is drive-connected to the driving rod (3). The aim of the invention is to create a driving rod gear mechanism, which is particularly easy to produce and does not require extensive reworking on the wing, particularly the rebate edge. To this end, the pivot axis (8) extends transversal to the sliding direction, and the link (13) extends perpendicular to the driving rod (3) situated along a rebate edge (18), whereby the link (13) extends, in part, above and below the rebate edge (18).
