[origin: WO2004104720A1] The invention relates to a rotary knob (1) for an electric operator panel comprising an illumination device. Said knob comprises a hollow, opaque grip part (2) with a translucent region (7) and a light source (12) that emits light into the hollow region (14) of the grip part (2), the light being guided onto the translucent region (7) by means of a hollow cylindrical reflector (8). The latter (8) extends from the illumination means (12) into the hollow region (14) of the grip part (2).
