Abstract (en)

The device (10) includes a gas-tight and thermally-insulated oven housing (50) comprising at least one feed and removal opening (70) with an oven lid (40). A deflector nozzle area (20) is arranged inside the oven housing. A tool can be placed in the deflector nozzle area. The device is provided with a heating device which warms a fluid that flows through the openings in the deflector nozzle area. An independent claim is included for a method of warming extruder tools.
