Abstract (en)
A textile knitting machine (1) with a rider (3) that slides longitudinally back and forth has a spring retainer. The rider (3) with a first section and a third section located on one side of the needle (11) shank. A second part of the rider is located on the other side of the needle shank. The rider is located in an aperture within the needle. The rider is retained on each side by a groove within the needle.
