The light unit has a light source with a reflector (2) and the cover disk covering the front aperture of the reflector. The reflector is divided into numerous reflector segments (5). There is a light disk with numerous light disk segments in front of the reflector. The combination of these segments and a reflector segments produces reflected light (H, N1, N2, N3, N4, I1, I2, I3, I4, I5, I6, I7).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchteinheit für Kraftfahrzeuge mit einer Lichtquelle (1), mit einem der Lichtquelle zugeordneten Reflektor (2) und mit einer eine vordere Öffnung des Reflektors abdeckenden Abdeckscheibe (3), wobei der Reflektor in eine Mehrzahl von Reflektorsegmente (5) unterteilt ist, wobei dem Reflektor eine Lichtscheibe (11) mit einer Mehrzahl von Lichtscheibsegmenten (10) vorgelagert ist, dass die Reflektorsegmente jeweils den Lichtscheibsegmenten zugeordnet und derart ausgebildet sind, dass an den Reflektorsegmenten reflektierte Licht auf die jeweils zugeordneten Lichtscheibsegmente gebündelt werden.
