[origin: WO2004108444A1] The invention relates to a non-rigid rear axle for a motor vehicle, comprising two longitudinal oscillating arms (12). The end (14) of each arm, which is oriented towards the rear of the vehicle, is respectively connected to a wheel bracket (16) in an articulated manner, and the other end (18) of each arm is respectively connected to the body of the vehicle in an articulated manner, said arms (12) being connected by a cross member (22). The inventive non-rigid axle is characterised in that each longitudinal arm is connected to the adjacent wheel bracket by means of at least one actuator (26) that can rotatably drive each wheel bracket (16) in relation to an essentially vertical axis (21).
