Abstract (en)
The strainer (2) fits over a collecting basin (1) fastened in an aperture (3) in the concrete roof (4). The basin rests on a support plate (6) carrying a mass of fire safety material (8) which may swell and block the drain. The drainpipe connection (9) and drainpipe (10) have thin walls and pass through a central aperture in the mass of fire safety material. A large diameter pipe (11) surrounds the drain basin and the fire safety material.

Dachablaufvorrichtung, umfassend eine Einlauföffnung für von dem Dach abzuführendes Wasser, eine Ablauföffnung, durch die hindurch das durch die Einlauföffnung eingetretene Wasser in ein mit der Dachablaufvorrichtung verbindbares oder verbundenes Ablaufrohr (10) gelangen kann, sowie Brandschutzmittel, die insbesondere als bei einer erhöhten Temperatur aufschäumende Brandschutzmasse (8) ausgebildet sind.
