[origin: WO2004101227A1] The invention relates to a screwdriver comprising a handle (1) and a blade (2). The handle (1) comprises a front handle part (3) which is joined to the blade (2) and a rear handle part (4). The rear handle part (4) comprises a recess (9) which receives at least part of a torque control device which interacts with the blade (2) and the blade (2), which is essentially fixed to the handle (1) in the axial direction of the handle (1), protrudes through a through bore of the front handle part (3). The torque control limitation device forms a first tooth part (14) which is connected to the blade in an axially fixed or rotationally fixed manner and comprises a second tooth part (15) which is associated with the rotationally fixed, axially displaceable handle counter to the restoring force of a compression spring (16). The tooth parts (14, 15) form front toothings which surround the blade (2). The teeth form transversal flanks which are pressed against each other by the compression spring (16) and slide on top of each other when the limiting rotational torque is obtained. The invention also relates to a rotationally fixed and axially fixed bearing collar (18) associated with the blade (2), said bearing collar being mounted between bearing sections (19, 20) both parts of the handle (3).
