Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1632453A2] The device for the emergency lowering of a load carrying means of a stacker has a bypass between a lift cylinder and hydraulic fluid tank, with a shut-off element in the bypass. The bypass is formed by a bypass branch (42) in a valve block (22), and a screw-form shut-off element (50) with a male threaded section is screwed into a threaded hole (48) in the valve block and in the fully screwed-in position blocks the bypass branch. A torque transmitting cable (52) is connected by one end to the shut-off element, and a hand grip for the rotation of the cable is attached to the other end of the cable.
