Abstract (en)
The iron, comprising a heated sole (1), a body with a water reservoir, and a handle with a broad top forming a thrust surface for the palm of the hand, has the reservoir filling hole (7) at the bottom of a funnel-shaped cavity (322) in the handle, which is fitted with a stopper (81) on a hinged cap (8). The diameter of the filling hole is at least 1.5 cm, and the cap forms part of the handle's upper surface when closed.
