[origin: EP1632630A1] Plate pocket for fixing a hinge plate comprises a support (1) consisting of a front plate (6) and a rear plate (7), a threaded spindle (9), and a receiving block (2) with a slit (3) for introducing a hinge loop. The receiving block has a support plate (10) and a clamping device (11) for fixing the hinge loop inserted into the slit. The clamping device has a pressure plate (13) connected by tightening screws (12) to the support plate and a vertically adjustable clamping plate (14). The clamping plate is arranged between the pressure plate and the support plate and is clamped against the support plate by adjusting the pressure plate. The clamping plate is supported at at least one end on a height-adjusting device (15) and is provided with a holding device (16) for fixing the clamping plate on the hinge loop.
