Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1632921A2] A fire alarm is triggered by a switch in a rectangular frame (1) countersunk in the wall. The switch unit has a glass cover plate (5) whose upper edge rests when not activated against a spring-lever (3). The lever is coupled to a switch (2.2, 2.3). The lower edge of the plate rests against a cam (6.2) forming part of a spindle (6) that is coupled to the switch and exposed at one end and operates the switch for test purposes.
