Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1633024A1] The lamp socket, comprising a base (1) and two or more electrical contact strips (20) for the lamp electrodes, has a centering ring (3) with projecting tongues on one side to engage with the base, and centering lugs on the other side that have inclined surfaces making contact with the surface of the lamp bulb. The contact strips are made from spring steel or stainless steel.
