Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005007207A1] The invention relates to a method for the thermal sterilisation of air used to ventilate spaces requiring air with a low micro-organism content. The inventive method is characterised in that the air to be sterilised is circulated by forced flow in a cyclic manner in opposing alternate directions, for example using an air circulator (1) and solenoid feed valves (3), through a thermal sterilisation chamber (12) housing an electrical resistor (7) which is positioned between two stacks of wire grilles (8, 9), said air flowing perpendicularly to the stacks of grilles.
