Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004108309A1] The invention relates to a method for treating the surface of a metallic container comprising at least one opening, using at least one treatment solution. The inventive method is characterised in that it consists of the following steps: the container is placed in a treatment enclosure in such a way that the opening thereof is downwardly oriented, said enclosure comprising a plurality of nozzles for blasting said solution under pressure and at least one receiving vessel; at least one blasting nozzle is introduced via the opening of the container; the enclosure is rendered gas-tight and liquid-tight; a treatment solution containing at least one degreasing, stripping, passivating, shining, cleaning, rinsing or colouring reagent is blasted by means of at least one blasting nozzle, under a minimum pressure of 8 bar; the solution is collected in the receiving vessel for recycling purposes; and optionally, other treatment solutions are successively blasted by means of at least one blasting nozzle, and are successively collected after use in a receiving vessel for recycling purposes, until the desired surface state is obtained. The invention also relates to a treatment device and a treatment line.
