Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004113076A1] A printing press having a number of identical inking systems for delivering ink to said press. The individual inking systems comprises an ink source including an ink reservoir held under a positive pressure. The ink travels from the manifold through a valve mechanism and to one or more piston mechanisms which undergo rotary and reciprocating motion, and thence to the ink outlets. Two piston and single-piston mechanisms are described.
