[origin: WO2004108542A1] The invention relates to a collapsible metal box (1), comprising :- a base part (2) of general rectangular shape, having four vertical corner posts (5), - four panels (4) hinged on the base part, i.e. two small panels (4b) and two large panels (4a), each panel having two vertical side posts, wherein at least one of the panels (4) being detachable, wherein at least one of the side post and the corner post (5) having a first hinge element engaged into a corresponding aperture of the other of the side post and the corner post (5),and wherein the aperture is so shaped that the panel (4) can be loosened from the base part (2) by an at least substantially vertical mutual displacement between the panel side post and the base part corner post (5).
