Abstract (en)
The method involves printing two partial images (301, 302) along a printing direction (305) at the end of passage of sheets under a thermal head. A printing direction (309) opposite to the direction (305) is used to print two partial images (303, 304) such that a junction zone (308) between the images does not present in a zone from which printing in started. The images are juxtaposed in a preset order to constitute a final image (300). An independent claim is also included for a thermal dye sublimation transfer printer for implementing an image printing method.
