Abstract (en)
A pump assembly (10) including an electric motor (12), a pumping element (14) mounted in a pump chamber (16), the motor (12) being connected to the pumping element (14) such that activation of the motor (12) causes movement of the pumping element (14) which in turn causes pumping of fluid in the pump chamber (16), and a motor controller (44) which includes at least one electrical or electronic component and which controls operation of the motor (12), wherein at least one electrical or electronic component of the motor controller (44) is mounted on or in a wall of the pump chamber (16).
