Transparent cover comprises a convex protrusion located over each luminescent lamp. Preferred Features: Reinforcing ribs are arranged between the side surfaces and holding surfaces. Holding pins for hood holding straps are arranged on the side surfaces.

Transparente Abdeckungen für explosionsgeschützte Leuchten sollen dahingehend verbessert werden, dass Lichtstreuung, Blendfreiheit und Lichtausbeute optimiert werden. Für diese Verbesserung wird vorgeschlagen, die transparente Leuchtenabdeckung (4) an der äußeren Oberfläche im Bereich der Lichtquelle(n) (z.B. Leuchtstofflampen) mit ein oder mehreren konvexen Erhebungen zu versehen.
