Abstract (en)
The device has a burner (20) arranged in a combustion chamber (19). A suction system (25) supplies a fuel-air-mixture to the burner. Hot gas is produced by burning the mixture using the burner. The gas is led through a heat exchanger (15) and is discharged as an exhaust gas by an exhaust gas system. A part of the suction system has a wall (30) made of a sound-absorbing material e.g. a metal foam or a gas concrete.
