Abstract (en)
The socket has two contacts that are conducted as short circuit or as a pair of contacts (3b). Two pins of a fluorescent lamp socket are combined together. Each pin is clasped by three contact springs of the contact. The springs are connected by two circular carriers with an over head component. The contact springs with its carriers are inserted in receptacle of the socket cover. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an explosion proof luminaire (B) use of an explosion-proof two-pin lamp socket for compact lights.

Fassungen für Zweistiftsockel-Leuchtstofflampen sollen dahingehend modifiziert werden, dass der elektrische Kontakt zwischen Lampe und Fassung verbessert wird. Für diese Verbesserung wird vorgeschlagen, beide Kontakte kurzzuschließen bzw. als Kontaktpaar (3b) auszuführen, die Kontakte in Form von mindestens drei Kontaktfedern (3b1), die von einem ringförmigen Träger (3b2) ausgehen, auszuführen und die Kontakte mittels eines Brückenteils (3b3) oder einer Verlötung einstückig auszuführen. Ferner wird vorgeschlagen, die Lampenfassung so zu gestalten, dass der Fassungskörper (3a) federnd gelagert in einem Fassungshalter (1) angebracht ist und schlittenartig bewegt werden kann.
