[origin: WO2004099033A1] The invention relates to a packaging device (10), especially for storing semi-hard cheese such as a cheese wheel called "Tête de Moine", combined with means for use. Said device is formed by a container (12) consisting of a body (13) comprising a bottom (14), a lateral wall (15) and a detachable cover (16) arranged in such a way as to nest over the body (13). The bottom (14) is provided with a platform (17) for supporting the cheese wheel (11), and the lateral wall (15) is arranged in such a way as to surround the bottom (14), forming a crown-shaped edge (18) around the platform (17). Said support platform (17) is provided with a recess containing a rigid rod (19) and means for mounting said rod perpendicularly to the surface of the platform.
